What's Your Body Telling You?

Steve Sisgold

Show Description:
Listen to Your Body's Signals to Stop Anxiety, Erase Self-Doubt, and Achieve True Wellness

What's a Gut Reaction?
It's a physical and mental trigger to external events - when suddenly every part of your body and mind communicates in unison, firmly and decisively, beyond all rationalization. When you just KNOW something, without knowing why - that's your gut talking.

The most incredible think about gut reactions is that society trains us not to have them! From childhood, we're told not to listen to our bodies, to disconnect from our feelings and somatic intelligence in order to fit in with and please others. Children and adults are told to "sit still and be quiet," to desensitize feelings and create order. But ultimately this leads the body away from the mind, where it's shut down and ignored. In a high-tech, more-stressful-than-ever world, being attuned to our bodies is even more challenging. People all over the world are feeling higher levels of stress in their professional, finanical, and personal lives. In a climate where the mind is overemphasized and physical activity falls by the wayside, we've forgotten our dialogue with the body. In the end, we're fatiqued, sick, tense, and unhappy.

What's Your Body Telling You? by body-centered therapist Steve Sisgold, is a detective story where the body conceals and many of the answers we need to feel more stable and confident. This is a step-by-step guide that teaches you how to raise your BQ (Body Awareness Intelligence) to successfully navigate your way with concentrated focus and confidence.
