To Be or Not To Be Healthy

Myles J. Schneider, DPM

Show Description:
For weeks now, on several of my shows I have covered the news around the Health Care Reform that is now before congress. Never before in my own life have I witnessed and participated in a discussion that affects all people in the USA. Having spent my entire life involved in personally or close to the health care system of our country I have long seen it's weaknesses, the eroding spirit of many health caregivers due to stresses and pressures, and the sad preventable waste of life that befalls many innocent paitents who are victims of the selfishness of big business and our governments inability to solve the problem.

But the problem is not all about the influence of big business or our governments lack of leadership. The root of the problem actually lies with us, the population. What is it we are doing that has us falling into illness and disease, being robbed of our normal active lifestyles and even our very lives?

My guest today is Dr. Myles J. Schneider, DPM who brings us many answers in his book, "To Be or Not to Be Healthy", a primer that all politicians, healthcare professionals and the public should be reading. Dr. Schneider believes that 'wellness' should be the key to transforming our failing healthcare system. Come join host Catherine Bradford as she welcomes Dr. Myles Schneider to the Wellness Roadshow.
