Moments with Baxter REPLAY OF PREVIOUS SHOW
Melissa Joseph
Show Description:
Baxter, now 18 years old, is a rescue dog, part golden retriever and part chow, who came to Melissa Joseph when he was two years old. At the time, he was going to be euthanized because he had heartworms and his owners could not afford to treat him. A friend of Melissa's saved him but could not keep Baxter herself, as she already had too many rescued dogs. Melissa's friend described him as adorable along with the quetion, "Will you take him, please?" Thus began her life with Baxter.
Melissa Baxter has been volunteering with her therapy dog, Baxter, for over four years. After several years at San Diego Hospice and The Insitute of Palliative Medicine, she and Baxter currently volunteer at Palomar Pomerado Hospital in San Diego.
"Baxter's inspirational story reminds us how dogs can teach us to live fully in each moment; even if that moment may be our last."
Cesar Millan, the Dog Whisperer

09/02 - Two Spot Gobi

Special Interview with Two Spot GobiToday I am welcoming an incredible band from the UK, Two Spot Gobi to the air. In this rare radio interview we will have the chance to find out how this up and coming group has become so popular in such a short time.
Two Spot Gobi's unique and alternative blend of organic pop was born in 2005 in Brighton. Their unique line up featuring cello and trumpet alongside drums, bass, guitar and singer James' acrobatic vocals makes a refreshingly new sound with a laid back coastal groove. This is intelligent urban sass for the chilled out surf generation with an infectious live show.
Two Spot Gobi have toured relentles...
