A Spiritual Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe

Paul Rademacher

Show Description:
In his book "A Spiritual Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe", author Paul Rademacher brings us a text for spiritual seekers looking to transcend traditional churches, temples and synagogues. A former minister, Paul Rademacher describes his own spiritual journey, using the Bible as a jumping off point to explore the idea of enlightenment. He goes from his Sunday school roots, to his days pouring concrete and his surprising decision to become a minister.
After examining his own religious beliefs, Rademacher found that churches often focused too heavily on eternity - what happens when we die. The rightful focus of any true spiritual path, he came to believe, should be on infinity - how to experience the fullness of our divinity in the here and now. Rademacher has succeeded in writing both a deeply personal memoir and a meditation on the greater meaning of authentic spirituality.

Special Interview with Two Spot Gobi

Today I am welcoming an incredible band from the UK, Two Spot Gobi to the air. In this rare radio interview we will have the chance to find out how this up and coming group has become so popular in such a short time. Two Spot Gobi's unique and alternative blend of organic pop was born in 2005 in Brighton.  Their unique line up featuring cello and trumpet alongside drums, bass, guitar and singer James' acrobatic vocals makes a refreshingly new sound with a laid back coastal groove.  This is intelligent urban sass for the chilled out surf generation with an infectious live show. Two Spot Gobi have toured relentles...
